PROFESSIONAL
DEVELOPMENT COURSE

for professional dancers with prior qualifications

This is a 6 month to 1 year professional training program for the professional level with prior qualifications or experience. It is designed for highly motivated & disciplined dancers with advanced technical level. The program provides advanced-level training over a range of Performing Arts disciplines with particular emphasis on ‘Dance & Performance’, supported by allied units such as Vocals, Acting, and theoretical units. The syllabus is comprised of several core subjects in classical ballet, supplemented by a range of theatrical & commercial electives.

The course is designed to foster and refine, the performer’s versatility, adaptability and technical ability in preparation for the mandatory requirements of a professional Dance career in the higher echelons of the industry in Australia and overseas. Students are encouraged to realise their full potential and are instilled with the principles of artistic excellence, discipline, career strategy, hard work, dedication, and training.
