Established in 1987, Dance World Studios has become Australia’s premiere dance and performing arts school. Students come from all over the world to train with our experienced dance instructors who bring their unique specialties to the classroom each and every day.

Looking for more than dance? You might consider auditioning for our extensive musical theatre course, available in both ​full​ and ​part-time​ in Melbourne. Through our musical theatre department, ​APO Arts Academy​, you’ll learn the three core disciplines of musical theatre – singing, dancing and acting.
Additionally, you’ll learn the history of musical theatre, musical theory, and keyboard skills at both foundational and diploma levels. You’ll achieve all the skills required to become a professional and potentially one of Australia & New Zealand’s best.

How do I apply for a place at Dance World Studios?

To become a part or full-time student of Dance World Studios, we require application via audition. We accept auditions in person or via video submission if you’re living out-of-state.
You will be selected based on your existing dance skills and abilities, physical fitness, raw talent, and potential to make it in the performing arts.
