Alongside industry recognised dance courses, we also provide vocational musical theatre training for students aiming to hit the stage. Our courses are available in part-time and full-time capacities, so you can choose the pace at which you learn.

Through our musical theatre department, APO Arts Academy, you will learn the three main disciplines of musical theatre – singing, acting and dancing. You will also have access to units like the history of musical theatre, keyboard skills, and musical theory at diploma and foundational levels.

Our musical theatre courses are designed to challenge your versatility, adaptability, fitness, vocal range and dance skills, all mandatory requirements a professional career in the performing arts.

How do I apply for a place at Dance World Studios?

Note: we do not take international students at this time, however, students from New Zealand are welcome to apply.

Working in the performing arts requires a level of raw talent, fitness and skill, all of which we can provide here at Dance World Studios. Whether you’re looking to become a professional dancer or musical theatre master, we will work with you to achieve a high level of talent and discipline.

We require application via audition. Preferably, we like to complete the auditions in person, but if you’re still living interstate, we also accept video submissions.
