Based in Melbourne, Dance World Studios has been training Australian and New Zealand dancers to achieve their dreams since 1987. We offer a wide range of nationally recognised part-time and full-time dance courses covering such styles as classical ballet, jazz, tap, acrobatics and hip hop, as well as theatrical and commercial electives, so you can gain the skills required to make it in the entertainment industry.

While our elite dance school is based in Melbourne, we accept motivated students from all over Australia who are looking to improve their skills, strive for perfection, and become the best dancers they can be.

Along with extensive dance training, we offer part-time and full-time courses in musical theatre via our musical theatre department, APO Arts Academy. You will undertake rigorous singing, dancing and acting, and learn from industry professionals including choreographers and musical directors.

Additionally, we often invite guest lecturers to visit and share their knowledge, to give you an idea of the entertainment and performing arts industry.

How do I apply for a place at Dance World Studios?

Note: we do not take international students at this time, however, students from New Zealand are welcome to apply.

To become a full or part-time student of Dance World Studios, we require application via audition. We accept auditions in person or via video submission if you are living out-of-state or in New Zealand.

You will be selected based on dance ability, physical ability, and your potential to pursue a career in dance. To apply, simply follow the instructions below:
